Abstract:
To provide a thermal transfer device that presses and heats a thermal transfer sheet on a to-be-transferred area of a to-be-transferred object to perform a desired transfer, which is an electrically powered device of extremely light weight and compact design.SOLUTION: The thermal transfer device for performing transfer by pressing and heating a to-be-transferred object and a thermal transfer sheet between a vertically movable upper iron and a lower iron includes a rod connected to the upper iron at a lower end to enable vertical movement up and down in a vertical direction, a first arm rotatably supported on a shaft in contact with an upper end of the rod, and a mechanism for transmitting a driving force from a first eccentric cam and a motor, the first eccentric cam being in contact with a part of the first arm for adjusting a downward pushing force of the first arm. Further included is a second arm that is rotatably supported on a shaft between the first eccentric cam and the driving force transmission mechanism.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
