Abstract:
To provide a thermal transfer ink sheet having both of transferability in high-speed transfer and the shelf life of a dye.
In the thermal transfer ink sheet the support of which is provided with a dye layer containing a thermally transferable dye in a resin binder, at least one kind of the resin binder of the dye layer comprises a cellulose derivative including an aliphatic acyl group (A) of the number of carbon atoms of 5 to 30 and an acyl group (B) containing an aromatic group.
