The thermal transfer press includes a lower fixed plane and an upper movable plane as component regions, while the upper movable plane is partially supported and activated to open/close, so that it can separate from and come into pressure contact with the lower fixed plane. The press is in an open state from 90 to 180 degrees, and is additionally equipped with a light source and a projection board to cause the light from the light source to transmit through or reflect on the projection board. In addition, the press has a function that lines or the like drawn on the projection board form a fixed positioning shade on the lower fixed plane.
