To enable proper feeding of processing liquid without staining an ink ribbon while reducing the consumption amount of the processing liquid.
An erasing unit 10 comprises an erasing liquid tank 4, a feeding lever 8 integrally formed with the erasing liquid tank 4, and an erasing squeegee 3 held by the erasing liquid tank 4. The erasing liquid tank 4 is supported by a printer case 7 so as to oscillate around a boss 4a as a supporting point. An intermittent drive means is constituted of the cam 2 attached to an ink ribbon winding shaft 12 and rotating in sync with the same and the feeding lever 8 engaging with the face of the cam 2. The erasing squeegee 3 is intermittently driven by the intermittent drive means, thereby repeating contact/separation with/from the used ink ribbon 13b on a stable position member S.
