PURPOSE: To thermally transfer the image of an endless transfer belt to the surface of a solid object such as soap in succession while repeatedly applying the electrostatic printing of the image of the original picture to the running endless transfer belt in order to rapidly realize multikind and small-quantity thermal transfer in low cost.
CONSTITUTION: An electrostatic copy device A electrostatically printing an image on the single surface of an endless transfer belt (a) is arranged to the upper forward route of the endless transfer belt (a) while a thermal transfer device B and a belt washing device C are successively arranged to the lower return route of the endless transfer belt (a) in the transfer direction of the endless transfer belt (a). A release agent coating device D applying a release agent to the single surface of the endless transfer belt (a) is arranged between the belt washing device C and the electrostatic copy device A. The thermal transfer device B is constituted of the heating roller 37 rotated in contact with the endless transfer belt (a) and a lift stand 42 equipped with a large number of rollers guiding a solid object (s). When the lift stand 42 presses the solid object (s) to the heating roller 37 through the endless transfer belt (a), the image on the single surface of the endless transfer belt (a) is thermally transferred to the solid object (s).
