Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat transfer recording medium in which a coloring layer is intermittently arranged with a stripe shape, coping with high speed printing and having no setoff to a back face.SOLUTION: There is provided a heat transfer recording medium in which a release layer 4, an intermediate layer 3, a coloring layers 1 and 2 are laminated on a substrate 5 in this order, the coloring layer is arranged intermittently with a stripe shape, a thermoplastic component in the release layer consists of wax (A) with the melting point of 45°C or more and less than 65°C, wax (B) with the melting point of 65°C to 100°C, and a thermoplastic resin (C) with the melting point or the softening point of 45°C to 100°C and constitutional ratio thereof, (A)/(B)/(C)=50 to 100 wt.%/0 to 50 wt.%/0 to 50 wt.%, and a thermoplastic resin component in the intermediate layer consists of wax (D) with the melting point of 80°C to 120°C and a thermoplastic resin (E) with the melting point or the softening point of 80°C to 150°C and constitutional ratio thereof, (D)/(E)=70 to 100 wt.%/0 to 30 wt.%.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
