THERMALLY ADHESIVE CONJUGATE FIBER WITH DEODORANT FUNCTION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS63196718
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the titled fiber outstanding in durability, suitable for wadding, padding cotton for pillow, etc., nonwoven fabrics for napkin, etc., by coordinating deodorant-contg. low-melting component of a melting point below a specified value and high-melting component with a melting point higher than another specified value.

CONSTITUTION: The objective conjugate fiber can be obtained by coordinating (A) low-melting component with a melting point ≤220°C (pref. polyethylene) incorporated with a deodorant such as fumaric acid or iron ascorbic acid compound and (B) high-melting component with a melting point ≥150°C, higher than that of the component A by ≥30°C (pref. a polyester consisting mainly of polyethylene terephthalate).
