Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermally developing apparatus which prevents density unevenness of a thermally developable material due to lowering of temperature at a part where the front edge of the thermally developable material comes in first contact with a heating member, that is, at the inlet of the heating member, stably performs thermal development and can simply perform stable gradation reproduction at a low cost.
SOLUTION: In a thermally developing device consisting of a heater with a heat source for visualizing a latent image by conveying a sheetlike thermally developable material in which the latent image has been formed under heating and a plurality of opposite rollers arranged opposite to each other so that the sheetlike thermally developable material is pressed on the heater, in the plurality of opposite rollers, a heat capacity of a prescribed number of opposite rollers arranged on the upstream side of the sheetlike thermally developable material in which the latent image has been formed in the conveyance direction is made larger than that of opposite rollers arranged on the downstream side of the prescribed number of opposite rollers.
