Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermally drying machine and a toasted laver-producing device, capable of drying laver in a short time without causing non-uniform drying and deforming the laver and subsequently quickly toasting the dried laver.
SOLUTION: This device 2 for producing toasted laver is provided with a heating oven comprising a thermally drying zone 8 for preliminarily thermally drying sheet-like laver before toasting the laver and a toasting zone 10 for toasting the dried laver. While carried with a carrying conveyer 12 for each sheet, the laver sheets are thermally dried with heat radiated from drying heaters in the thermally drying zone 8 and subsequently toasted with heat radiated from toasting heaters 44 in the toasting zone 10. Since the laver sheets are individually thermally dried, the laver sheets can be thermally dried in a short time without causing the irregular dryness and deformation of the laver sheets, and the flavor and smell of the laver sheets are not deteriorated. After thermally dried, the laver sheets can quickly be toasted.
