Abstract:
To provide a thermally expandable linear member and its manufacturing method, capable of providing a fire protection construction only by simply attaching a cable and the like.
This thermally expandable linear member is constituted by a core material composed of a cable or a tubular material, and a thermally expandable coating layer formed on an outer peripheral face of the core material. The member can be manufactured by simultaneously drawing out the core material and a thermally expandable composition from a nozzle part of an extruder to coat the outer peripheral face of the core material with the thermally expandable coating layer.
