Title:
THERMALLY SPRAYED FILM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS62240756
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a thermally sprayed film which is improved in thermal impact resistance and is considerably decreases in the tendency to the generation of the crack and exfoliation of the film by increasing the ceramic mixing rate in the thermally sprayed film to be formed from the surface side of a member in the thickness direction of the film up to <100%.

CONSTITUTION: The thermally sprayed film having the mixed structure composed of a metal such as 80wt% Ni-20wt% Cr and ceramics such as ZrO2-8wt% Y2O3 is formed on the surface of the member essentially consisting of an Al alloy, etc. as base material. The mixing rate of the ceramics is increased from the surface side of the above-mentioned member in the thickness direction of the film and the mixing rate of the ceramics on the final surface is specified to <100%. The above-mentioned characteristics are thereby provided to the thermally sprayed film; in addition, said film is made thick while the heat conductivity thereof is kept low. The thermally sprayed film which excels in both characteristics of a heat insulating characteristic and durability is thus obtd.
