To provide a thermo-hygrostat capable of preventing a trouble that dew formed by the contact of air blown out from an air blower with a cooled ceiling, etc., are changed into water drops just in front of a jet and subsequently scattered from the jet, disposing a steam.water drop-separating mechanism on a nozzle pipe constituting the humidifier of the thermo-hygrostat.
This thermo-hygrostat comprises a freezer, an evaporator 11, a heater 12, a dehumidifier, a humidifier, an air blower 14 and a whole frame 9 which are devices for generating and controlling the temperature and humidity of an environmental test device. Therein, the humidifier comprises a steam- generating source 16, a pipe 1 for a nozzle, and a header, and steam generated in the steam-generating source 16 is blown out from the small holes of the nozzle 2 through the header to humidify the environmental test device. A steam.water drop-separating mechanism is disposed on the pipe 1 for the nozzle. The steam.water drop-separating mechanism preferably has a structure in which a plurality of dew-forming plates 3 bent at many angles to enlarge their surfaces are superposed on one another at spaces just on the nozzle, thus forming dew from saturated steam and dropping the formed water drops.
