Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermocouple power detector allowing use in medium power, excellent in a high-frequency characteristic, and capable of dealing with various requests such as execution of DC calibration.
SOLUTION: In this detector, a thermocouple 4 isolated from high-frequency power is disposed in a space formed inside a metal block 2 having a large heat capacity. A high-temperature junction part of one side of the thermocouple 4 is disposed in face-to-face contact with an electric conductive thin plate whose periphery is connected to the metal block 2, while the thin plate is brought in face-to-face contact with an insulative substrate formed with a film-like resistor 12 on its surface. A low-temperature junction part of the other side is mounted on the metal block 2 in face-to-face contact with the metal block 2. In this state, the thermocouple 4 detects temperature increase of the resistor 12 caused by the high-frequency power.
