Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic elastomer composition which is excellent in softness, (long-time and short-time) compression set, and oil resistance and does not allow a softener to bleed out; and its molded item and composite molded item.
SOLUTION: This thermoplastic elastomer composition is prepared by melt kneading a composition containing (a) 100 pts.wt. polymer component which comprises a hydrogenated block copolymer obtained by hydrogenating a block copolymer comprising at least two polymer blocks A consisting mainly of an aromatic vinyl compound and a polymer block B consisting mainly of a conjugated diene compound and/or a hydrogenation product of a conjugated diene compound block copolymer, (b) 30-150 pts.wt. nonaromatic softener for rubber, (c) 3-100 pts.wt. petroleum hydrocarbon resin which has a softening point of 80-170°C and of which the temperature at which the melt viscosity is 10 P is 120-250°C, and (d) 0.01-3.0 pts.wt. organic peroxide. The molded item and composite molded item are prepared from the elastomer composition.
