PURPOSE: To remarkably improve the adhesion by molding a thermoplastic polyester resin laminate consisting of a thermoplastic polyester resin layer (layer A) and a modified ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin layer with a specified compsn (layer B).
CONSTITUTION: A thermoplastic polyester resin laminate is molded by laminating a thermoplastic polyester resin layer (layer A) and a modified ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin layer (layer B) prepd. by graft-polymerizing 2wt.% or more vinyl acetate onto an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer with a vinyl acetate content of 5-50wt.% and with an MFR of 0.5-30g/10min and the total vinyl acetate content of 20-80wt.%. As a method for preparing the laminate, a method for laminating resins of both layers by means of coextrusion molding, press molding, extrusion lamination, etc., is used. The obtd. laminate has good interlaminar adhesive force, has in parallel excellent mechanical characteristics of PES and properties of other base material, and is an industrial material suitable for uses such as food packaging materials.
