Abstract:
To obtain a thermoplastic resin composition which has excellent gas barrier properties, especially steam barrier properties and from which a packaging material or a container having transparency to visually check contents is formed without greatly impairing properties of a thermoplastic resin.
The thermoplastic resin composition comprises one or more kinds of tackifiers selected from the group consisting of a terpene-based resin and a rosin-based resin, an organic crystal nucleating agent and the thermoplastic resin. Consequently, since the thermoplastic resin composition has low gas permeability, especially steam permeability and transparency is not impaired, the thickness of the packaging material or that of the container is reduced.
