Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inorganic fine particles-reinforced thermoplastic resin composition excellent in heat stability in moldability and processability and provide a method for producing the composition.
SOLUTION: This composition comprises (A) polycarbonate-based resin, (B) a thermoplastic polyester-based resin and (C) basic inorganic fine particles in which the SiO2 unit occupies ≥30 wt.%. In the composition, particles of numbers not smaller than total particle number × [an amount of the component B added/ (an amount of the component A added + an amount of the component B added) × 1.8] among total particles of the basic inorganic fine particles is present in a phase other than the polycarbonate-based resin phase. The composition is produced by using a kneader equipped with a vent port opened at atmospheric pressure between a first feed port and a second feed port, feeding ≥30 wt.% inorganic compound (C) based on total raw material of the composition from the second feed port 3 and the balance of the raw material from the first feed port.
