Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain an inexpensive oil-resistant thermoplastic resin compsn. having an excellent org. solvent resistance and good pliability and mechanical strength by blending a specific hydrogenated block copolymer with an olefin polymer and a plasticizer.
CONSTITUTION: This resin compsn. comprises (A) 100 pts.wt. hydrogenated block copolymer, (B) 5-400 pts.wt. olefin polymer, (C) 5-500 pts.wt. plasticizer, and (D) 0-300 pts.wt. filler. The component (A) is a hydrogenated block copolymer obtd. by hydrogenating a block copolymer having in its molecule at least two polymer blocks A of a vinyl arom. compd., at least one polybutadiene block B (l) having a 1,4-bond content before hydrogenation of at least 80%, and at least one isoprene-butadiene copolymer block C (m) having a 1,4-bond content before hydrogenation of at least 80%, provided that at least 85% of (l) and (m) are hydrogenated to provide a crystalline m.p. of (l) of at least 85°C and a heat of crystalline melting of (m) of at most 35mJ/mg.
