PURPOSE: To obtain a thermoplastic resin composition having excellent transparency as well as impact resistance, by mixing a methyl methacrylate copolymer with a mutual copolymer of an ethylene-propylene-conjugated diene copolymer and methyl methacrylate.
CONSTITUTION: The objective composition is prepared by mixing (A) a methyl methacrylate-acrylic acid copolymer containing at least 70wt% methyl methacrylate unit with (B) a mutual copolymer of (i) 70W30pts.wt. of an ethylene- propylene-conjugated diene copolymer (preferably their molar contents are 60W 85%, 15W35% and 1W5%, respectively) and (ii) a monomer mixture consisting of 60W100wt% methyl methacrylate and ≤40wt% acrylic acid ester. The weight ratio of A/B is 10/90W90/10, preferably 20/80W80/20.
