Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a thermosensible agent which has a long image retention period, a colorable hue is close to black such as brown, and high sensitivity.
CONSTITUTION: A thermosensible agent is obtained chiefly from an imino compound expressed by the formula I (A is C=O, C=NH, X is an electron attractive group with Hammet's σ value of +0.25 or more, n is an integer; when n is 2 or greater, X can be different from each other.) and an aromatic isocyanate compound expressed by the formula (X1, X2 are each a halogen, an alkyl group, an aryl group, an alkoxyl group, a hydroxyl group, and an N,N-dialkylamino group; a1-c2 is integers, 1≤a1, b1, c1≤5, a1+b1+c1=5, 1≤a2, b2, c2≤5, a2+b2+c2=5; a1+a2≠0, 2≤b1; for 2≤b2, X1, X2 can be different from each other). A coloring layer containing the thermosensible agent is laminated on a support to make a thermosensible recording sheet.
