Title:
THERMOSENSITIVE COLORING LABEL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2000075793
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide an adhesive label capable of preventing blocking and providing a satisfactory film without drying at a high temperature and having an OP layer formed by use of a material substantially containing no solvent by including no organic solvent except water in an intermediate layer on the reverse side of a label base material having a thermosensitive recording layer.

An adhesive label 1 is formed of a label base material 2, and an intermediate layer 3, an adhesive layer 4 and a releasable sheet 5 successively laminated on the reverse side of the label base material 2. The label base material 2 is provided with a thermosensitive recording layer on a proper base sheet, the intermediate layer 2 is provided prior to the provision of the adhesive layer 4 in order to regulate the surface state of the surface for laminating the adhesive. The content of organic solvent other than water in the intermediate layer 3 is ideally zero. Even if the coloring is caused by the presence of an extremely trace amount of organic solvent it is inconspicuous with a visually low coloring density, 0.3 or less by reflection density, and the content of organic solvent of 100 ppm or less is practicable.
