PURPOSE: To obtain the title releasing agent which can give a film excellent in the balance between releasability and adhesiveness and printability with an oil-base ink, by mixing a specified silicone graft copolymer with a polyorganohydrogensiloxane and a curing catalyst.

CONSTITUTION: A silicone macromonomer (a) which is a modified polyorganosiloxane of, preferably, a number-average MW of 500W50,000 is graft-copolymerized with a radical-polymerizable monomer (b) to obtain a silicone graft copolymer (A) of a viscosity (25°C) of 500W500,000cP, containing 0.1W80wt.% units of component (a) and having at least two alkenyl groups in the molecule. 100pts.wt. component A is mixed wit 0.1W200pts.wt. polyorganohydrogensiloxane (B) having at least two Si-bonded hydrogen atoms. in the molecule and a curing catalyst (C) to obtain the title releasing agent. This releasing agent is applied to an object in a coating weight of 0.1W10g/m2 and heat-treated at 60W200°C to obtain a cured film.
