To enable outward bending processing and to achieve the enhancement of heat resistance by superposing a thermosetting resin impregnated fiber base material on the surface of a metal panel and further superposing a thermosetting resin impregnated fiber base material coated with a thermoplastic resin specified in thermal deformation temp. thereon to mold the whole under heating and pressure.
One adhesive thermosetting resin impregnated base material is superposed on the surface of a metal panel and a thermosetting resin impregnated base material coated with a thermoplastic resin with a thermal deformation temp. of 60-150°C is further superposed thereon and, thereafter, a base material impregnated with a thermosetting resin such as a melamine resin is superposed thereon and the whole is molded under heating and pressure to obtain a thermosetting resin metal decorative panel susceptibe to outward bending processing. As one example, a thermosetting resin impregnated base material 9 is laminated on the single surface of a metal panel 10 and a thermosetting resin impregnated base material 8 coated with a thermoplastic resin is further superposed thereon. Next, a thermosetting resin impregnated base material 7 becoming a decorative layer is superposed thereon and, if necessary, a thin melamine resin impregnated base material 6 for a surface layer is superposed thereon and the whole is integrally molded under heating and pressure.
