Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thickened shaft machining device capable of turning a partially thickened shaft after being machined into a partially thickened shaft.
SOLUTION: This device comprises a center lathe, a partially thickened shaft machining unit and a fixing table. The partially thickened shaft machining unit can hold a workpiece and is provided with a rotation driven holding body capable of rotating around its axis with a workpiece held to pivotally mount a rotary support shaft, which is provided in the front section of the rotation driven holding body, on a base frame, which slides forward and backward along the guide face of the center lathe, and an eccentric means to turn the rotation driven holding body taking the rotary support shaft as a base end between the base frame and the rotation driven holding body at a more rear position than the rotary support shaft. The fixing table can move frontward and backward along the guide face of the center lathe and has a fixing means to made the fixing table unable to move frontward and backward at a specified position. This is also provided with a moving means to move the partially thickened shaft machining unit frontward and backward with the fixing table fixed between the partially thickened shaft machining unit and the fixing table.
