Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin battery which can improve preservation characteristic while maintaining a sufficient current collecting efficiency.
SOLUTION: In this manufacturing method, a positive electrode mix layer 11 is formed on a metallic positive electrode current collector 12 having a positive electrode connecting lead part 12b extending outside of a battery, a negative electrode mix layer 13 is formed on a metallic negative electrode current collector 14 having a negative electrode connecting lead part 14b extending outside of the battery, and the positive electrode mix layer 11 and the negative electrode mix layer 13 are stacked together via a solid electrolyte 15 to form a generating element A in the form of a thin plate. Metallic jackets 16, 17 are placed respectively on the upper and lower surfaces of the thin-plate- shaped generating element A having heat-sealing synthetic resin frames 18, 19 placed respectively on the upper and lower surfaces of the outer periphery thereof, and then heat is applied to heat seal the synthetic resin frames 18, 19 together, the synthetic resin frame 18 to the metallic jacket 16, the synthetic resin frame 19 to the metallic jacket 17, and the synthetic resin frames 18, 19 to the connecting lead parts 12b, 14b.
