Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin battery having an exterior material comprising a flexible resin film excellent in gas barrier properties, chemical resistance, heat resistance, adhesiveness, etc., with good processability in forming a film.
SOLUTION: This thin battery has an exterior material comprising a film formed from a liquid-crystal polyester resin composition containing 56-99wt.% liquid-crystal polyester and 44-1wt.% epoxidized ethylene copolymer consisting of the following: 50-99.9wt.% ethylene units; 0.1-30wt.% units of a glycidyl ester of an unsaturated carboxylic acid, or unsaturated glycidyl ether units; and 0-49.9wt.% ethylenically unsaturated ester compound units.
