Title:
薄膜太陽電池
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP4562220
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thin-film solar cell which is of high performance and improved in interface characteristics between an electrode layer and a photoelectric conversion layer, keeping incident light high in utilization factor of the rugged surface texture of the electrode layer. SOLUTION: A thin-film solar cell is equipped with a transparent insulator layer 13, a semiconductor photoelectric conversion layer 14, and a second electrode layer 15 which are successively laminated on a first electrode layer with a rugged surface texture, whose average surface roughness Ra exceeds 50 nm. The transparent insulator layer 13 has a thickness larger than the maximum level difference among the irregularities of the surface texture of the first electrode layer 12 and an average surface roughness Ra of below 50 nm at its interface with the semiconductor layer 14, and includes openings 13a through which the semiconductor layer 14 is connected to the first electrode layer 12.
