Title:
THIN LEAF PAPER FOR THERMAL STENCIL PRINTING AND MANUFACTURE THEREOF
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3590489
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a void part at the time of printing and to make a water- resisting strength and an ink holding property excellent by a method wherein fibers constituting thin leaf paper containing specified superfine fibers are bonded together by two or more kinds of thermally adhesive resin being different in a melting point by a specified degree and hard to dissolve in an alkali water solution.
SOLUTION: Conjugated fibers composed of thermoplastic resin being easy to dissolve in an alkali water solution and thermoplastic resin being hard to dissolve in the alkali water solution and thermally adhesive core-sheath type composite fibers are prepared mixedly and subjected to heat treatment so as to melt low-melting components constituting the thermally adhesive core-sheath type composite fibers and thereby a temporarily fixed sheet is formed. Then, the component being easy to dissolve in alkali is removed by alkali treatment and superfine fibers of 0.01-0.2 denier derived from the conjugated fibers constituted of the thermoplastic resin being hard to dissolve in the alkali are obtained. Thin leaf paper containing the superfine fibers by 10-65wt.% is subjected to thermal adhesion by two or more kinds of thermally adhesive resin being different in a melting point by 30°C and hard to dissolve in the alkali water solution.
