Title:
MICROSTRIP ANTENNA IN COMMON USE FOR MULTI-FREQUENCY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3240568
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To attain the microstrip antenna used in common for multi-frequency by providing a 2nd feeding point so as to attain the excitation at a 2nd frequency from the new feeding point.
CONSTITUTION: The antenna is excited at a prescribed frequency fx from a feeding point 5 on a center line whose coordinate is b/2 of a square radiation element 11 expressed as a×b and a linear polarized wave is generated. A load admittance of a line 7 is infinite, then the line is short-circuited and the load admittance of the feeding point 4 at the tip does not give any effect on the line 7. Moreover, the width and length of the line 7 are selected by taking the phase constant into account, and the line 7 is a line having a guide wavelength with respect to the frequency fx, then the line is matched with respect to the frequency fx. Thus, the feeding point 4 and a matching circuit 6 are provided to the short-circuit part of the tip of the line 7 and the antenna is excited at a frequency fa different from the frequency fx. Thus, it is possible to excite the antenna at the frequency fa different from the prescribed frequency fx at the feeding point 4 while the antenna is excited at the frequency fa different from the frequency fx from the feeding point 5.
