Title:
THIN SHEET LIKE CONTINUOUS BELT TAKE-UP DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2823549
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct ununiform contact with a touch roll by providing a bending mechanism for correcting deflection amount on a takeup shaft on the outside of a bearing body for supporting a take-up shaft.
SOLUTION: In a device in which a thin sheet like continuous belt 2 is opposed to a touch roll 6 and wound up by a take-up shaft 7 of which right and left sides are supported by bearing bodies 8 and 8, a take-up diameter is increased and load is increased variably as the take-up advances while the take-up shaft 7 is winding up. By this variation, a deflection occurs. In order to adjust this deflection automatically, a bending mechanism such as jacks 17 and 17a acts on the right and left outer sides of the bearing bodies 8 and 8 for supporting the take-up shaft 7 so as to correct the deflection.
