Title:
THIN-WALL PLATE CYLINDER ROTARY STENCIL PRESS AND INK TEST OPERATION METHOD AND PRINTING OPERATION METHOD FOR THE SAME
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3806463
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To have a clear printing on a first sheet even after a long period of suspension of printing.
SOLUTION: A movable plate 26 axially supporting an ink roller 40 is rotatably supported on a stationary plate 20. The plate 26 is normally held at an upper position by a coil spring 30, one end of which is fixed at an offset position of a rotary cam 34 driven by a motor 32. When it is presumed that ink of a plate cylinder 10 is dried and in short supply due to a long period of suspension of use, the motor 32 is rotated to loosen the spring 30, allowing the plate 26 to rotate under gravitation thereby to bring the ink roller 40 into contact with the plate cylinder 10 to rotate the cylinder 10, whereby an ink test operation for feeding ink is performed and the motor 32 is actuated to return the plate 26 to the upper position to perform a printing.
