Title:
THIOETHER SUBSTITUTED IMIDAZOQUINOLINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2010031024
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
To provide a compound by attempting to identify compounds that are useful as immune response modifiers to find compounds that have the ability to modulate the immune response by induction of cytokine biosynthesis or other mechanisms.
Imidazoquinoline and tetrahydroimidazoquinoline compounds that contain thioether functionality at the 1-position are useful as immune response modifiers. The compounds and compositions can induce the biosynthesis of various cytokines and are useful in the treatment of a variety of conditions including viral diseases and neoplastic diseases.
