Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL: A compound represented by formula I, [wherein R1 denotes alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, cycloalkyl, cycloalkenyl, and the like; R2 denotes alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, cycloalkyl, cyclopentenyl, and the like; R3, R4 denote H, halogen, alkyl, alkoxy, cycloalkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, and the like, or R3 and R4 together form -CH=CH-CH=CH-, and the like; R5 denotes H or -Z-R6 (wherein R6 denotes phenyl, naphthyl, pyridyl, and the like; and Z denotes O, S, a direct bond, NH, and the like)].
EXAMPLE: 1-(2-ethyl-6-isopropylphenyl)-4isopropyl-5-thioxo-2-tetrazoline.
USE: Pesticides.
PROCESS: A compound represented by formula I is obtained by a method of treating 1-phenyl-5-oxo2-tetrazoline represented by formula II with a sulfurizing agent.
