Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thread guard member, the life of which can be lengthened by inhibiting the progress of wear of a part coming into contact with yarn, a yarn storage device, and a yarn winding machine.SOLUTION: A thread guard member includes an arm part 64 which is attached rotatably with respect to a yarn storage roller 51, and a guide part 65 which is a linear member provided in the arm part and extended in the direction of getting away from the arm part and which is brought into contact with yarn Y unwound from the yarn storage roller 51. A yarn guiding surface 66, which is composed of an arc having a curvature radius of 0.45-5.00 mm and formed in at least a part of a cross-section orthogonal to an extension direction, is formed in at least a part in the extension direction of the guide part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
