Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thread guarding jig and thread guarding method using such a jig, intended to facilitate and assure a thread guarding operation in starting a braiding using a braider composed of a plurality of collocated braider units each having the function to make braids by twisting a plurality of yarns together.
SOLUTION: This thread guarding jig 51 is constituted of a rod-like member provided with a thread hook 51a for seizing a thread F delivered from each of braider units 15 at each arrangement interval for the corresponding braider unit 15 in a multiple braider composed of a plurality of the collocated braider units 15. A thread hook 51a represents a recess formed on the outer circumference of this jig 51.
