Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hook a thread to an empty bobbin at a winding position by the cooperation of a thread hooking device and a thread change-over device when continuous operation is started and positioning the thread for a slit of the empty bobbin speedily to bring it in so as to improve a success rate of thread hooking.
SOLUTION: In a spinning winder provided with a change-over mechanism which changes over two bobbin holders 11, 12 to a winding position P1 and a standby position P2, a thread hooking device for hooking a thread to a bobbin by catching the thread Y in a slit (thread catching groove) of the bobbin B is provided with a thread guide means (thread hooking member) 30 which guide the thread, a thread contact means (arm member) 28 which brings the thread guided by the thread guide means 30 in contact with the bobbin, and a thread slide means (automatic thread change-over device) 20 which slides the thread in contact with the bobbin toward the slit along the bobbin.
