PURPOSE: To splice threads effectively and quickly by generating clockwise and anticlockwise air vortex flows to the inserting threads from plural air blowout nozzles opening in a twistingly joining chamber having a vertical groove for inserting and joining the threads.
CONSTITUTION: In a splicing head 11, a semicircular vertical groove 24 is symmetrically formed to mutually orthogonal two symmetrical planes 146, 147, and two air blowout nozzles 101, 102 are opened in the groove base 45. This one air blowout nozzle 101 is arranged on the left side to the vertical directional symmetrical plane 146 and on the lower side to the horizontal directional symmetrical plane 147. The other air blowout nozzle 102 is arranged on the right side to the symmetrical plane 146 and on the upper side to the symmetrical plane 147, and air in a compressed-air canal 37 generating a turbulent flow by a spiral screw thread 202 is blown out from both air blowout nozzles 101, 102 so that one operates a clockwise air vortex flow on threads, and the other operates an anticlockwise air vortex flow to thus effectively splice the threads according to thread characteristics.
