This winder includes a winding unit 11 having a winding shaft 31 for rotatingly driving the winding bobbin 21 and a selector device 12 having a plurality of nozzles 54 for sucking and arresting the threads conveyed from the upstream side of the winding shaft 31, respectively. To replace the winding bobbin 21, the threads further on the upstream side of a package with a predetermined length are sucked and arrested by the nozzles 54, the package is taken out from the winding shaft 31, and a vacant winding bobbin 21 is attached to the winding shaft 31.
