PURPOSE: To dispense with curing work for prevention of duct burning at the time of welding so as to reduce manhours by forming holes on a duct main body corresponding to holes of support members, and inserting blind rivets into the holes so as to lock the duct main body directly to the support members.
CONSTITUTION: A three-axial direction restricting duct support 10 comprises a pair of side surface support members 14R, 14L vertically suspended on a ceiling beam or the like with a clearance corresponding to a width of an air conditioning duct 12 to be supported; and an upper surface support members 16U and a lower surface support members 16D which are welded with a clearance corresponding to a height of the air conditioning duct 12. Rivet holes are formed on the upper and lower surface support members 16U, 16D in portions facing to the air conditioning duct 12. After the duct support 10 is located at a predetermined position, holes corresponding to the rivet holes are formed in the air conditioning duct 12. Furthermore, blind rivets 18 are inserted into the holes so that the air conditioning duct 12 is locked directly to the upper and lower surface support members 16U, 16D.
