Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-tier automatic warehouse that can reduce the number of elevators and that further facilitates movement of articles and the like between shelves by forming a carrying path for the articles and the like in a direction (Z-axis direction) crossing each storage shelf row.MEANS FOR SOLVING THE PROBLEM: A multi-tier automatic warehouse includes: a plurality of storage shelf rows in which storage shelves for storing articles and the like are arranged in a grid pattern in a horizontal and longitudinal direction and a vertical direction; movement means for moving the articles and the like into a space for forming a side of loading/unloading of the articles and the like between the respective storage shelf rows of the plurality of storage shelf rows in an opposed manner; a plurality of fixed type elevators at one-end sides of the plurality of storage shelf rows; and mobile elevators at the other-end sides of the plurality of storage shelf rows.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
