Title:
THREE-DIMENSIONAL CLOTH AND PRODUCTION THEREOF
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH02191742
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a three-dimensional cloth in a bent form in the longitudinal direction of warp yarns without deteriorating strength in each direction of (X), (Y) and (Z) by weaving weft yarns into a group of many warp yarns stretched in plural rows and columns in a specific state.

CONSTITUTION: Weft yarns (y) woven into intercolumnar spaces in a group of warp yarns (z) are partially folded back before a position where part of the weft yarns attain the innermost layer of a three-dimensional cloth in a bent part in the longitudinal direction of the above-mentioned group of the warp yarns (z). Weft yarns (x) are also woven into interrow spaces in the group of warp yarns (z) on the outside of a layer corresponding to the folded back layer of the weft yarns (y). Thereby, the density of the weft yarns (x) and (y) in the bent part is nearly uniform.
