To obtain excellent images suitable for performing 3-dimensional reconstruction by enabling 3-dimensional reconfiguration to be performed projecting a pattern to an object, at proper timing meeting an image acquisition condition for 3-dimensional image acquisition.
Information on projection of light includes information on the time for projecting light for the purpose of projecting the pattern in an image acquisition set composed of image acquisition actions performed twice or more including picking up at least once the object carrying the pattern projected onto it, and is stored in a light projection information memory 14. Along with it, information on the progress of image acquisition in the image acquisition set is stored in an image acquisition progress information memory 15. A controller 13 controls the projection of light by a projection flashlight 12, and image acquisition by an image acquisition system 11, on the basis of the stored information on the projection of light and the stored information on the progress.
