Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal adaptor frame assembly capable of mounting a first electric connector to an opening part of a panel and of mounting a second connector to a printed circuit board.
SOLUTION: This assembly is composed of: a die-cast metal body 22 that defines a front-side receiving part 32 for receiving a first electric connector 18 and a rear-side receiving part 38 for receiving a second electric connector 20, and can join the first and second connectors 18, 20; a blanked metal plate shield cover 24 mounted on the main part of the die-cast metal body 22; a stamped metal plate gasket 26 mounted to the die-cast metal body 22 in order to engage with an opening part of a panel to surround the front-side receiving part 32; and a die-cast metal shutter member 28 that is movably mounted to the die-cast metal body 22 in order to close the front-side receiving part 32, and can be moved to an opening position during the engagement by the first electric connector 18.
