To provide a three-dimensional printing method provided with high quality printing and high productivity by reliably completing preparation in a short period of time about high-accuracy three-dimensional object printing and a three-dimensional object printing system to which the printing method is applied.SOLUTION: A three-dimensional object printing method includes a detection step for detecting the position and orientation of each three-dimensional object placed on a printing table T on which a plurality of three-dimensional objects 502 are placed as a printing object, a printing data generation step for generating printing data in association with each three-dimensional object on the basis of a detection result, a printing step for executing printing to each three-dimensional object according to the generated printing data, a control step for controlling the detection step, the printing data generation step and the printing step, an outline information acquisition step for acquiring outline information of the three-dimensional object, and a calculation step for calculating the position and rotational angle of the three-dimensional object on the basis of the outline information of the three-dimensional object acquired in the outline information acquisition step.
