PURPOSE: To enable a three-dimensional plotter of a CAD/CAM system to directly use and process a file generated by the CAD system.

CONSTITUTION: This platter is equipped with a support means 4 for a tool which can move on a predetermined three-dimensional surface by highly precise tracing. Further, the plotter is equipped with a multifunctional working head 6 equipped with a laser distance measuring instrument, a digital and an analog probe which measure and digitize a two-dimensional and/or a three dimensional surface, and various tools for generating a three-dimensional model from surfaces generated through the CAD system. Further, a hardware and a software system are connected directly to the CAD system so that an operator can input various parameters directly and also connected to the CPU of a machine device in parallel so that a data file generated by the CAM system can be adapted to a file for numerical control without additional processing.
