PURPOSE: To obtain three-dimensional woven fabric having a small amount of deformation in the slant direction as composite material aggregate by arranging bias yarns mutually slanting in the longer direction of woven fabric in a plane parallel to a warp layer besides the warp layer, a weft layer and a vertical yarn layer.
CONSTITUTION: Plural warps Z are passed through warp guides 14 and warp opening device 5 and fixed to yarn supporting plates 3 and plural bias yarns B are passed through guide blocks 19 of feeders laid circulatively and movably in upper and lower two stages on a looped rail extending in the width direction of the woven fabric and through bias yarn opening devices 6 and fixed to the yarn supporting plate 3. In a state of a repier 9 at a rising position and in a state of both the opening devices 5 and 6 at a dropping position, the bias yarns B are transferred through the guide blocks 19 by one pitch in the width direction, the repier 9 is dropped, inserted into between the vertical yarns Y and the warps Z, wefts X are inserted into between the warps Z and the vertical yarns Y by the a repier 15, the repier 9 is raised, beating is carried out and the yarn supporting plates 3 are moved by one pitch. These processes are repeated to weave three-dimensional woven fabric.
