Title:
THREE-LAYER (MULTILAYER) STRUCTURED SPHERICAL CERAMICS FOR FLY OIL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2010209304
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To solve such a problem that although a photocatalyst itself is extremely effective outdoors with much ultraviolet light or when an ultraviolet light emitting light is used, the photocatalyst cannot exhibit its functions when used indoors, in oil in a fryer, or in water, and to provide a reduced photocatalyst which can exhibit significant photocatalytic functions in oil in a fryer, in water, or in the dark and also exerts its long-lasting effect, that is, to provide an excellent technology which even in an environment without light or with little light irradiation, achieves potent reduction, reduces, by a photocatalytic effect, the oxidation and deterioration of oil when used in edible oil used for fried foods etc., improves the state of fried foods, attains good frying even at lower temperatures, exhibits the effect for a long time, has an ability to recycle waste oil as biofuel, and is excellent in food safety.

Platinum powders and titanium oxide are deposited on a surface of a ceramic mixture to produce a combination of compositions, in which a first layer core is formed by solidifying a mixture comprising powdery soil clay and powdery anion active ore ceramics, and a second layer is formed by solidifying a mixture comprising powdery zeolite, powdery titanium oxide, and powdery silver ion. The three layer-structured spherical composition comprising the six, the combination of compositions, is used in dipping in edible oil as an oil oxidation inhibitor of functional three layer-structured spherical ceramics.
