To provide a three-phase AC motor allowing a stator and thus a motor to be reduced in size and cost by securing a space on an inner diameter side of an insulating bobbin and arranging a plurality of crossover tracks of a stator winding for respective phases, and a neutral point formed by a star connection of tip ends of the crossover tracks in the space.
In a three-phase AC motor, when stator windings 3, 4, and 5 for respective phases of a U-phase, a V-phase and a W-phase are concentrically wound around a plurality of tooth parts provided in a stator core 2 via an insulating bobbin 8, the stator windings 3, 4, and 5 for the respective phases are wound around a winding space on a slot 6 side so as to be gradually increased in winding height from an inner diameter side toward an outer diameter side of the insulating bobbin 8, and in a space formed by the stator windings 3, 4, and 5 in the outside in an axial direction and on the inner diameter side of the insulating bobbin 8, crossover tracks 11 to 16 of the stator windings 3, 4, and 5 for the respective phases, and a neutral point 9 formed by a star connection of tip ends 3A, 4A and 5A of the crossover tracks are arranged and stored along the space.
