A three-phase motor comprises: a stator core 1 on the inner periphery of which four teeth 1a-1d are formed in the circumferential direction with an equiangular pitch; a U-phase winding 8 which is wound onto the tooth 1c by the number of windings Nu; a V-phase winding comprised of a winding part 19-1 wound onto the tooth 1b by the number of windings Nv1 and a winding part 19-2 serially connected with the winding part 19-1 and wound onto the tooth 1d by the number of windings Nv2; and a W-phase winding 20 comprised of a winding part 20-1 wound onto the tooth 1a by the number of windings Nw1 and a winding part 20-2 serially connected with the winding part 20-1 and wound onto the tooth 1d by the number of windings Nw2. The three-phase motor satisfies the followings: Nu:Nv1:Nv2=Nu:Nw1:Nw2=2:√3:1.
