To provide a thresher that can improve a threshing performance.
The thresher is provided with a guide member 52 in which a grain culm inlet 60 to introduce a grain culm before threshing to a threshing chamber 57 is disposed to be formed at a space of a threshing chamber cover 56, and an ear tip part of a grain culm before threshing can be guided from an outside of a threshing chamber 57 to the threshing chamber through the grain culm inlet 60. The thresher is provided with a plant root conveyor 71 in which the grain culm can be transported along a rotary shaft direction of a threshing cylinder 18 while sandwiching a plant root part of the grain culm so that the ear tip part of the grain culm is guided by the guide member 52 and is introduced in the threshing chamber 57 through the grain culm inlet 60. The thresher is provided with an ear tip conveyor 75 in which the ear tip part of the grain culm in which a plant root part is transported by the plant root conveyor 71 can be transported to face the grain culm inlet 60 while the ear tip part is guided by the guide member 52. A threshing cylinder 18 is provided with two or more threshing teeth 62 that project from the outer peripheral surface toward an outside of a radial direction of the threshing cylinder 18. Each of two or more threshing teeth 62 is flatly formed along a parallel plane to the rotary shaft direction.
